The art of coping: how to maintain energy and peace of mind? Do you feel that you lack the energy to manage your work and everyday life? Perhaps you have noticed that, alongside all your tasks, your own cup is somewhat empty? During the training, we will explore and try out various ways of self-care so that you can find the ones that best match your current needs. We will begin by looking at the role self-care plays in promoting mental health and explore how to recognise when it would be useful to apply one or another self-care practice in your life. During the day, we will discover self-care from five different perspectives: how to care for yourself physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually and spiritually. To ensure that self-care activities do not remain merely good intentions, we will use a hybrid model for habit formation. Based on this, we will set and design the intentions that are important to us, so that caring for mental health can become a natural part of life. The aim of the training is to support people in applying diverse mental-health self-care practices in everyday life. As a result of the training, participants will: understand the importance of mental-health self-care and its different approaches; be able to use versatile self-care methods; be able to use a habit-formation model for adopting self-care methods in both their personal and working lives. The total duration of the training is 6 hours (8 academic hours), and after completing it, it is possible to receive a certificate. Trainer: psychologist Anna Nõmmik. Please note! This is a training that uses active-learning methods. When registering for the training, please be prepared for a day in which we will work both as a group and individually to empower self-care. If mental-health-boosting side effects occur, enjoy reaping the fruits of your participation. Keywords: mental health, self-care, habits, self-help.
