FBR guided breathwork journey
When was the last time you truly paused and breathed? Breathing is the first thing we do when we come into this world, and the last thing we do when we leave it. It accompanies us throughout our lives, every moment, every day. And yet breathing is so taken for granted that we rarely stop to think about how much it affects our well-being.
Do you sometimes feel that your body is still, but a hundred things are happening in your head? Your thoughts will not settle. You analyse, worry, plan and think ahead. One thought leads to another, and before you know it, you are caught in an endless whirl of thoughts again. Anxiety, inner restlessness and a constant readiness to react can become so familiar that we forget what it feels like to be truly calm.
We cannot always stop the thoughts that arise in our minds or control everything that happens in our lives. But we can learn to influence how we feel, how we relate to our thoughts and how we respond to different situations. Breathing gives us a chance to pause, step out of automatic reactions and create more calm within ourselves.
What is an FBR breathwork journey?
FBR, or Facilitated Breath Repatterning, is a guided breathing practice that combines conscious breathing, bodywork, words and presence. It is an opportunity to step away from the pace of everyday life for a moment and turn your attention to yourself—to your body, feelings and inner world.
Through guided breathing and bodywork, you can notice accumulated tension, emotions and inner patterns, and experience what happens when you allow yourself, for a moment, not to solve or control anything. This is more than just a breathing exercise. It is an opportunity to meet yourself on a deeper level.
What might a breathwork journey offer you?
- Relief from anxiety and inner restlessness.
- A chance to step out of the whirl of thoughts and take a break from constant analysis.
- An opportunity to notice and release tension held in the body.
- A chance to experience and express emotions.
- A deeper connection with yourself, your body and your feelings.
- Greater self-awareness and recognition of recurring thought patterns.
- More inner clarity, ease and presence.
Every journey is different. Some people experience deep calm, others feel emotions moving through them, while some gain new insights. Sometimes the greatest gift is simply being able to spend a moment without constantly thinking or doing.
Who is this for?
For you, if:
- You often feel anxious or internally restless.
- Your mind is constantly full of thoughts and you find it hard to stop them.
- You tend to overthink, analyse and worry.
- You feel you no longer know how to truly relax.
- You are always there for others, while your own needs take a back seat.
- You want to understand yourself and your inner world better.
- You long for peace, ease and a deeper connection with yourself.
You do not need to be in crisis or looking for a solution to a specific problem. You are also welcome to come out of simple curiosity or because you would like to set aside a moment that is truly dedicated to yourself.
Important to know before taking part
FBR breathwork may bring up strong physical and emotional reactions. For participants’ safety, please note the following restrictions. Taking part in the practice is not recommended for:
- People under 16 years of age.
- People who are pregnant, especially in the third trimester.
- People with cardiovascular conditions (high blood pressure, serious heart disease, aneurysms, a previous heart attack or cardiac arrhythmias).
- People with kidney failure.
- People with epilepsy.
- People with serious mental health conditions (psychosis, schizophrenia).
For older adults and people with a higher body weight, we recommend a gentler pace and a position suited to the body. If you have any of the listed health conditions or are unsure whether this breathing practice is suitable for you, please contact me before taking part. Consult your treating physician beforehand if needed.
Who will guide you?
I studied FBR breathwork therapy under the guidance of Gert Reinberg, founder of Breathwork Estonia, and have also previously furthered my education in holistic regression therapy at Holistika Instituut. I want to create a caring and safe space where you can be exactly as you are, without judgement, expectations or any need to achieve something.
I believe that there is not always anything that needs to be changed, solved or controlled. Sometimes we simply need a moment to truly breathe.
Places are limited so that we can maintain a small, supportive space. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Everything else will be provided on site. Approximate duration: 2 hours.
You are warmly welcome!
