Daugavpils Technology and Tourism Technical School invites everyone interested to register for free culinary masterclasses, where participants can learn to prepare dishes using recipes explored and modernised as part of the Interreg project “Taste the History”. Guided by experts and teachers, participants will learn about and prepare unique Latgale culinary heritage recipes, rooted in the region’s historical traditions but adapted to modern food-service trends and presentation principles. A total of 12 updated recipes have been developed during the project, preserving the authenticity of traditional flavours and making them accessible to a wider public.
Previous masterclasses were held for aspiring chefs and professionals. This time, everyone interested—city residents, tourists and food enthusiasts alike—has the opportunity to take part in practical activities and develop their culinary skills.
The masterclass will take place on 12 November, from 16:30 to 19:30, at Miera Street 57, Daugavpils. Participants will prepare 4 of the 12 developed recipes and will then have the opportunity to taste the dishes they have made.
