If your relationships with loved ones have become more strained and you find yourself reacting more than you would like… If you feel you don’t know how to move forward… If anxiety or fear has become a daily companion… Then it’s not that “you can’t cope.” It’s that your nervous system is carrying too much. We carry what feels like an invisible backpack, full of tension, suppressed feelings and unfinished responses. Over time, it simply fills up until we start overreacting to even the smallest situations. Deep connected breathing can help empty that backpack and make room for more of what you want in your life.
But perhaps you’re in a good place in your life and simply want to get to know yourself more deeply, or experience a meditative state and a sense of peace. Deep connected breathing is also a great fit for that.
Releasing breathwork can help to regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety, connect with your feelings, release tension held in the body, build more supportive relationships, restore inner balance, see more clearly how to move forward in life, and increase joy and lightness.
Come exactly as you are, and let your body experience whatever it needs in that moment—whether that’s releasing tension, finding inspiration, or simply taking a short, couple-of-hours break from everything.
We’ll begin with gentle, soft movement to help you arrive and bring your attention into your body. Then I’ll tell you a little about breathing and introduce the principles of Biodynamic Breathwork (BBTRS®). I’ll use sound, touch (including MER bodywork techniques) and aromatherapy to support you. Everything you need is provided; just wear comfortable clothes. The event lasts approximately 2–2.5 hours.
This event is not for you if you are pregnant, under 16, have high blood pressure, epilepsy, glaucoma, risk of heart attack, schizophrenia or an aneurysm, or have had surgery within the past month.
Who am I? I have been a BBTRS® certified practitioner since 2022 and have just completed a year-long course in dance and movement therapy at Tallinn University. I have always been fascinated by people and how we function. Over the past 19 years, this has led me to study various therapies and practices and explore the nuances of healthy eating. I have completed the Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy programme (The Embody Lab), trained as a nutrition counsellor, and studied several other practices (Reiki, the Silva Method, the Journey Method, Transcendental Meditation, the Kristiine Raie Method, MER bodywork and Lomi Lomi Nui massage, as well as practising yoga and dance for 10 years).
