If you are tired of analysing and thinking about how to live freely, fluidly and in harmony with yourself, this space is for you. Here, you can EXPERIENCE yourself and the inner voice of your body, and gradually release tension and inner blocks in order to experience peace and flow.
What will we do?
- Inner attunement and activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, so the body can begin to feel safe enough to open up
- Body and breathing practices, bringing attention to what is happening in the body here and now
- An emotional integration practice, where bodily impulses can move safely through the body
- Mindful movement practices, including intuitive dance, which let you experience movement as inner communication between the body and emotions
- A harp journey, led by Kadri Ann Rebane. After the movement practices, you can return to yourself and integrate the experience
In this space, participants can experience how mindfully moving through feelings—both in presence and through movement—and connecting with the body can be freeing, regulate the nervous system and open access to inner wisdom. We will also look at the moments when the body wants to react from trauma, and how to remain safely present in those moments.
You may take away from this space:
- A safe, supportive space where the nervous system can begin to open up and the body can “speak”
- An experience of integrating emotions and a guided practice you can also use later in everyday life
- A guided experience of mindful movement, including intuitive dance, and an encounter with your inner processes
- The joy of moving and breathing, and of thinking less
- Waves of sound from the sound journey to help integrate what you have experienced
- Reflections from other people and a sense of togetherness
In the workshop, we will create a safe, supportive space together that respects the experiences of all participants. Our nervous systems often need co-regulation in order to relax and calm down. This is a safe way to support bodily experience. Co-regulation can take place simply because a person is not alone in the room, and because the facilitator and participants have created a space that is held and made safe. In this space, bodies may begin to open up, breathe and finally “speak” through sensation about what may have been suppressed or overlooked.
This space is for you if you would like to show up, experience and connect more deeply and meaningfully with your body’s inner voice.
