Do you feel that your thoughts are constantly racing and tension keeps you from relaxing? The Mindfulness group is a supportive environment for people who feel tense, tired, anxious, burned out or overwhelmed, and who have lost their peace of mind. Learning mindfulness practices and using them regularly is a proven way to promote your wellbeing, prevent anxiety, depression and burnout, and recover from these conditions.
The Mindfulness group may be especially suitable if you:
- are used to caring for and taking responsibility for others, while your own needs tend to take a back seat;
- live with mental and emotional strain every day;
- feel buried under the pace of life and the pressure of your responsibilities, and find it difficult to switch off and truly rest;
- feel burned out;
- often experience anxiety and restlessness.
Taking part in the group offers an opportunity to:
- make time in your week for a mindful pause and self-care;
- slow down your thoughts and return to the present moment;
- find inner peace and balance;
- experience the support of other group members and an experienced group leader;
- rest deeply and notice your own needs;
- relieve stress.
We use mindfulness and mindful relaxation practices in the group to help:
- reduce stress and tension;
- improve sleep and concentration;
- strengthen inner balance and resilience.
An experiential approach, exploration and discovery through different exercises and practices can help you bring yourself into the present moment, understand yourself better and cope with everyday challenges.
During group meetings, we use:
- mindfulness practices and exercises;
- breathing exercises;
- guided meditations;
- self-reflection and listening to others’ experiences;
- calming music.
There is no obligation to speak. Everyone participates in whatever way feels right at the time.
