Singing bowl relaxation is a vibroacoustic method in which the tranquil soundscape and physical vibrations of singing bowls relax the body and mind as a whole. The bowls’ sound vibrations travel through the fluids in the body and reach the tissues, muscles, tendons, bones and internal organs. Singing bowl relaxation eases stress, releases muscle tension and gives the body an opportunity to produce more feel-good hormones. Peter Hess singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls and a gong are used during the relaxation session. Read more about singing bowl relaxation!
During the session, you can lie back comfortably under a blanket and let the sounds and vibrations of the singing bowls relax your whole body. At the beginning, you’ll hear a brief introduction to the principles of the session. The singing bowl relaxation itself lasts about 40 minutes, after which we’ll take some time to deepen the relaxation.
The session is led by Kaisa Peltonen, a yoga and mindfulness instructor who has trained in singing bowl relaxation.
