Discover a different way to meet people—with less judgment, more presence, sincere encounters, and human warmth. Have you ever felt that at a typical dating event, we judge another person’s appearance too quickly, worry about what to say, or try to make the best possible impression? What if, for a moment, you could let all that go and meet others in a completely different way?

Tantra Date is a playful, experiential evening for singles who want to step outside their daily routine, slow down, and discover what connecting with others can be like without the usual expectations or pressure to perform.

This is not speed dating or simply an evening of conversation. It is an opportunity to experience meeting others through presence, eye contact, breathing, movement, gentle touch, and heartfelt conversations.

✨ What makes this evening special?

Imagine stepping into a space where you are welcomed just as you are. The evening begins in a safe and supportive environment, where participants can gradually move away from the thought patterns of everyday life. On a typical date, we often catch ourselves wondering what the other person thinks of us. Here, you can practise simply being present—notice your breathing, physical sensations, and emotions, and let encounters unfold naturally.

Through simple guided exercises, we explore how our experience can change when we slow down, quiet our thoughts, and are truly present.

💞 What might you take away from the evening?

1. The chance to meet people differently
Eye contact, gentle hand-touching, and guided encounters can help create a connection even when you don’t know what to say right away. You can experience what it feels like to meet someone with curiosity and openness, without having to decide immediately whether they might become your partner.

2. A deeper connection with yourself
Breathing and presence exercises invite you to notice your feelings and needs. You can become more aware of your emotions, physical sensations, natural responses, and what helps you feel comfortable when interacting with others.

3. More confidence and ease in communication
Playful exercises offer a chance to step outside familiar communication patterns. You can explore what it feels like to be more open, express yourself more authentically, and meet others without needing to prove anything or impress anyone.

4. An experience of tenderness and mindful touch
Guided hand-touching and other contact exercises based on mutual consent invite you to notice how touch feels, and how important presence, attentiveness, and mutual trust are in these moments.

5. More meaningful conversations and new connections
During the evening, you’ll meet different people and share thoughts and experiences through questions that take conversation beyond ordinary small talk. You might discover unexpected similarities, new perspectives, or simply enjoy a warm and sincere conversation.

6. An experience of playfulness, movement, and joy
Music, shaking, and free movement offer a chance to release tension and bring your attention from your head into your body. Not everything has to be serious—meeting new people can also be light, fun, and full of surprises.

🤍 Safety, boundaries, and consent

Your wellbeing and personal boundaries matter. Each participant decides how much they want to take part. You are always free to skip an exercise, choose a way of participating that suits you, or stop at any time. Touch and partner exercises take place with mutual consent. Everyone’s boundaries are respected, and you don’t have to explain your choices to anyone.

An activity involving covering your eyes is part of a small portion of the guided experience, but your comfort always matters more than completing the exercise. If an activity doesn’t feel right for you, you can also choose to take part without covering your eyes.

You don’t need to be experienced, especially confident, or extroverted. Curiosity and a willingness to experience as much as feels right for you are enough.

Meet the facilitators

Filipa Moniz
Tantra teacher and intimacy mentor

Filipa’s journey began with studying biomedical sciences at Oxford and Johns Hopkins University, followed by a successful career in the Swiss business world. Despite her achievements, she still felt disconnected from her body and deeper desires. A transformative journey through yoga, tantra, and embodied self-awareness in Bali inspired her to leave her business career and devote herself to exploring intimacy, pleasure, and conscious relationships.

Today, she shares practices that bring together the intellectual world and embodied wisdom, helping people build deeper connections, be more authentic, and experience more joy in life and love.
