A performative exploration of escapism and the need to escape—and an honest look at where this impulse begins. A production about people who feel isolated and alienated in their everyday lives. They long for change but do not know where to begin. They dream of escaping to a place where they do not have to take a position on everything at once—a place where worries and rules cannot follow. When the noise of the world becomes unbearable, a vision emerges of a space called Tunnel. It is an underground maze of descending staircases, dark corridors and forgotten rooms. Slowly but surely, this vision begins to displace their reality. Tunnel becomes an obsession and a way out—a solution to something that seems impossible to solve. Somewhere in the depths of this labyrinth lies a room where time does not move and silence reigns.
