Free Swimming Lessons for Babies with Parents

As part of the project “Implementation of Public Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Measures in Ludza Municipality,” free swimming lessons for babies aged three months to two years, accompanied by a parent, will take place at Ludza Swimming Pool (27B P. Miglinīka Street, Ludza). During the lessons, babies will gradually get used to the water, developing a sense of safety and a positive experience, while parents learn practical skills for working with their child in the water. Early introduction to water not only makes it easier to learn to swim in the future, but also calms the nervous system, relaxes muscles, strengthens immunity, and improves sleep quality.

Dates and times: 2 November 2026, 15:00–16:00; 9 November 2026, 15:00–16:00; 16 November 2026, 15:00–16:00; 23 November 2026, 15:00–16:00.

The lessons will be led by Iluta Kaupuža. Each lesson lasts one hour, and sessions will be organised in small groups (up to 6 babies with an accompanying adult).
