You can live alone and be completely content with your life. But you can spend every day with someone and still feel terribly lonely. Solitude and loneliness are two very different things. We all need time to ourselves now and then: peace, freedom, space of our own. But we also need other people. Someone with whom we can truly be ourselves. To feel seen, understood and cared for. How can we learn to be alone without feeling lonely? And how can we be together in a way that truly nourishes us?
We invite you on Sunday, 22 November, to Muutus’s Journey of Reflection, “Loneliness and Connection,” via audio livestream. This is three hours of guided introspection with Peep Vain and live music, offering a chance to take an honest look at your relationships, understand your real needs and discover how to bring more closeness and connection into your life.
What can you expect that evening?
This is not a regular lecture or concert. It is a special journey of music and reflection, with all the attention on you and your life. Make yourself comfortable lying on a mattress, put on a blindfold and let the bustle of everyday life recede. Peep Vain will guide you through deep questions, thoughts and stories from life that can help you see your life with fresh eyes. Musicians Ahto Abner and Raun Juurikas will create live music that accompanies Peep’s words, helps your thoughts settle and creates space for your own insights.

That evening, we’ll take an honest look at these questions:
How can you learn to live peacefully with yourself?
How can you feel calm and whole even when you don’t have a partner or loved ones beside you to lean on?
Do you sometimes feel lonely even when you’re among other people?
What is missing in your close relationships when you’re together but don’t feel truly close?
Which relationships nourish you, and which drain you?
How can you choose the people around you and build relationships that give you strength rather than take it away?
How can you create and maintain genuine connection?
What can you do to bring more understanding, trust and closeness to your romantic relationship, family, friendships and other relationships?
What is your next step? Which relationship would you like to maintain, improve or create? And what can you do about it today?

Frequently asked questions
What is a Muutus Journey of Reflection?
A Muutus Journey of Reflection is a three-hour guided self-exploration accompanied by live music. The journey is guided by writer and teacher Peep Vain, who uses stories from life, thoughts and guiding questions to help participants better understand themselves, their relationships, goals and life choices. Introspection is supported by improvised live music created by Ahto Abner (percussion) and Raun Juurikas (keyboards and electronic sounds). Their unique soundscape helps thoughts settle, quiets external information noise and takes you into a deep, relaxed state, allowing answers to emerge from your subconscious.
During the journey, you lie comfortably on a mattress with a blindfold on and listen to Peep’s guidance and the live music. You don’t have to talk to anyone or share your thoughts—the whole experience takes place within you.
Who is a Muutus Journey of Reflection for?
The journey is for people who want to get to know themselves better, reflect on their relationships and life choices, find inner balance or gain clarity about their goals. You don’t need to have a specific problem to attend. You can also come simply to take time for yourself and think about where you’re heading in life.
Is a Muutus Journey of Reflection meditation or training?
The journey includes elements of both guided meditation and personal development training, but it isn’t exactly either one. Unlike a regular training course, the aim is not to acquire as much new knowledge as possible. You lie comfortably on a mattress, listen to Peep’s guidance and live music, and take time to reflect on your life and important questions.
Do I need prior experience to take part?
No. Previous experience with meditation, self-reflection or personal development is not required. Peep will guide you throughout the journey. You don’t need to prepare anything or share your thoughts with others. All you need is a willingness to take time for yourself.
