Family Sundays at Fotografiska have become something of a legend. One is coming up again in mid-December, this time with a festive Christmas feel and plenty of treats! Alongside pancakes and a Christmas market, this Sunday will also feature a lovely, festive magic-potion making session. At noon, you can get hands-on and mix up a zesty winter drink. In this workshop focused on the bounty of local forests and nature, you’ll make Fire Cider, inspired by ancient recipes: a zesty infusion based on natural apple cider vinegar, with spices, berries, roots and fruits added to taste. In the Metsapoole Maitsed version, the usual ingredients are joined by powerful local boosters: barberry, hawthorn, juniper, rowan, rosehip and other gifts of nature. You can sip the finished Fire Cider as a shot or add it to salad dressings, marinades, soups and other drinks.
Workshop: 13 October at 12:00. Everyone can mix their own Fire Cider to taste and take it home in a jar. The organiser will provide everything needed for the workshop. The workshop will be led by Metsapoole Maitsed, namely Hele-Mai Alamaa and Maret Allikas. Advance registration is required, and places are limited. The workshop costs €49 per participant and runs from 12:00 to 13:30.
And if you’re already visiting Fotografiska, it’s always worth stopping by the exhibitions—there are exactly five on display at the venue at that time!
