Dear friend of sound and silence,
Methods for “healing” oneself have long been popular, and learning their techniques takes effort. But what if, for a change, you gave yourself permission to let something happen on its own? Without effort. Without the pressure to do it right or wrong. Without expectations or labels.
I offer an invitation to allow whatever wishes to emerge in your present reality to happen by itself. In trust. Trusting that perhaps, for a change, there is no need to reach for yet another effort. What if you let gentle soundscapes and landscapes of silence support what is already within you? Perhaps something needs releasing, perhaps something needs to come to light or be supported. Perhaps it feels good simply to rest. From everything.
Various benefits have been observed from sound journeys. Reduced muscle tension, relief from chronic fatigue and anxiety, normalised blood pressure, increased production of the happiness hormone endorphin, lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and improved learning and concentration are just some of the possibilities. Still, every experience may be different, whether you are an experienced participant or joining for the first time.
Not every kind of sound suits everyone, or at every moment. In keeping with the rhythm of nature, my intention is to create a grounding, quieter soundscape—softly, in a space where you are held safely.
The sounds will come from seven handmade Crystal Tones® singing bowls made of the purest quartz. In addition to quartz, each contains different crystals, minerals, semi-precious stones and precious metals. The soundscape will be enriched by a pure quartzophone, also known as a crystal lyre.
Your body already knows what you need to reconnect with your own power. I hold the space for that.
As always, held in care and sound,
Nelli
