Three great European wines from completely different terroirs, and one question: what makes a good wine truly great? We’ll begin with the mineral elegance and power of a Grand Cru Chablis, continue with the juicy, Merlot-dominated Bordeaux from Saint-Émilion, and finish in the Sardinian sunshine with the legendary Turriga. Burgundy, Bordeaux and Sardinia have different grapes and different philosophies, but all three wines aspire to a place among the world’s great wines. We’ll compare them and explore what exactly makes a good wine unforgettable.
