Meil on külas Soome muusik, vokalist, produtsent ja Ecstatic Dance'i kultuuri üks eestvedajaid Mikko Heikinpoika , kes toob kaasa kaks erilist kogemust – hääle ja ühise loomise maailma avastava töötoa ning vägeva ekstaatilise tantsuõhtu. Päev kutsub avastama iseennast läbi heli ja liikumise, laskma lahti ootustest ning lubama muusikal end kanda. 15:00–18:00 WORKSHOP OCEAN OF SOUND – hääle, rütmi ja ühise loomise rännak Mis juhtub siis, kui laseme lahti mõttest, et laulma peab õigesti, ning lubame endal lihtsalt häält teha? Ocean of Sound on mänguline ja kaasahaarav rännak inimese hääle lõpututesse võimalustesse. Läbi juhendatud harjutuste, hääle avastamise, liikumise, kuulamise ja grupiimprovisatsiooni uurime, kuidas sünnib muusika meie endi seest ja meie vahel. Avastame hingamise, hääle ja keha ühendust, katsetame erinevaid helisid ja rütme ning kogeme, kuidas üksikud hääled saavad ühineda ühtseks elavaks helide ookeaniks. 19:00–22:00 EKSTAATILINE TANTS DJ HEIKINPOIKA (FIN) – Ecstatic Dance Journey Valmistu sügavaks ja mitmekihiliseks muusikaliseks rännakuks! Mikko Heikinpoika on Soome muusik, produtsent ja üks Ecstatic Dance Helsinki eestvedajatest. Juba ligi kümme aastat on ta aidanud kujundada ja kasvatada ekstaatilise tantsu kultuuri Soomes, luues ruume vabaks liikumiseks, ehedaks eneseväljenduseks ja muusika kaudu ühenduse leidmiseks. Tema muusikalised rännakud on rikkalikud ja dünaamilised, põimides orgaanilisi rütme, hüpnootilisi elektroonilisi helisid, sügavat bassi ja kaasahaaravaid helimaastikke. Tema setid liiguvad õrnuse ja intensiivsuse, sisekaemuse ja metsiku eneseväljenduse vahel, kutsudes tantsijaid avastama kogu liikumise ja emotsioonide spektrit. Mikko taust maailmamuusikas, rituaalses muusikas ja improvisatsioonis annab tema DJ-settidele erilise tundlikkuse. Muusikuna oskab ta kuulata ja tunnetada ning ruumi hoidjana tajuda tantsupõranda energiat. Iga helirännak kujuneb orgaaniliselt, jättes ruumi nii täielikule alistumisele ja tähistamisele, võimsale vabanemisele kui ka sügavale vaikusele. Tule sellisena, nagu oled. Liigu nii, nagu tunned. We are excited to welcome Mikko Heikinpoika , Finnish musician, vocalist, producer and one of the driving forces behind Ecstatic Dance Helsinki. He brings us two unique experiences – a workshop exploring the world of voice and collective creation, followed by an immersive Ecstatic Dance journey. A day to explore ourselves through sound and movement, let go of expectations and allow music to carry us somewhere new. 15:00–18:00 WORKSHOP OCEAN OF SOUND – An Exploration of Voice, Rhythm & Collective Improvisation What happens when we let go of the idea that we need to sing correctly and simply allow ourselves to make sound? Ocean of Sound is a playful and immersive journey into the endless possibilities of the human voice. Through guided exercises, vocal exploration, movement, listening and group improvisation, we discover how music can emerge from within us and between us. We explore the connection between breath, voice and body, experiment with different sounds and rhythms, and experience how individual voices can merge into one living, breathing ocean of sound. At times playful and energetic, at times gentle and meditative, this workshop invites us to step beyond familiar patterns, release self-judgment and discover the freedom of spontaneous expression. You don't need to know how to sing or have any previous musical experience. There are no right or wrong notes here – every voice is welcome and every sound has its place. The workshop is facilitated by Mikko Heikinpoika, a Finnish musician, vocalist and music educator whose work explores the meeting points of global music, improvisation, embodiment and human connection. Mikko Heikinpoika is a Finnish musician, producer and one of the driving forces behind Ecstatic Dance Helsinki. For nearly a decade, he has been helping to shape and grow the Ecstatic Dance culture in Finland, creating spaces for freedom of movement, authentic expression and connection through music. His musical journeys are rich and dynamic, weaving together organic rhythms, hypnotic electronic grooves, deep bass and evocative soundscapes. Moving between tenderness and intensity, introspection and wild expression, his sets invite dancers to explore the full spectrum of movement and emotion. Drawing from his background in global music, ritual music and improvisation, Mikko brings a unique sensitivity to his DJ sets. With the ears of a musician and the intuition of a facilitator, he knows how to listen, feel and respond to the energy of the dance floor. Each journey unfolds organically, allowing space for surrender and celebration, powerful release and moments of profound stillness. Come as you are. Move as you feel.
