Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is increasingly discussed in schools, at work and within families. This training is for everyone affected by ADHD: people with a diagnosis or strong suspicion that they have ADHD, their family members and loved ones, and professionals who support people with ADHD.
During the training, we will:
- discuss what ADHD is and its varied effects on everyday life;
- explore different coping and rehabilitation options;
- discuss when medication is necessary;
- look more closely at why supporting an adult with ADHD can be more challenging;
- consider together how to maintain understanding, support and humour, even in more difficult situations.
Our aim is not simply to talk about symptoms, but to broaden understanding of ADHD in its wider social and psychological context. The training will emphasise optimism: each of us is unique, and it is these differences that make life diverse and human.
👉 You are welcome if you would like to better understand yourself, someone close to you, or ADHD more broadly.
Trainer: Pille Varmann – Jungian analyst, EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), psychiatrist, TRE instructor (Tension & Stress Releasing Exercises), supervisor and trainer.
