We turn a mental health lecture into MENTAL HEALTH THEATRE. This is a dramatised psychology lecture in which the topic is introduced and explored by psychologist and actor Rita Rätsepp, while actors Merilin Kirbits and Maarius Pärn from Improtheatre IMPEERIUM put it into situations and act it out.
SECOND LECTURE-PERFORMANCE: “Relationship Patterns”
Why do we keep doing the same thing in relationships? How can we break patterns? Attachment styles, relationships that are unconsciously familiar and feel safe. How many times can we change a situation, and how does that change our lives as a result? Can we be merely actors in our own lives, or can we instead be directors?
The viewer can be a passive observer, but can also be an active participant in the discussion and guide the situations. By talking, untangling and acting things out, we can search for answers and learn as an outside observer.
