A Close-Up with Kaupo Kikkas and Tõnu Kõrvits

An exhibition can be viewed from endlessly many angles. A Close-Up brings people from different creative and professional fields to Fotografiska’s exhibitions and invites them on special tours, where perspectives from different backgrounds enrich discussions and reveal new connections in art.

On this special tour, photographer Kaupo Kikkas and composer Tõnu Kõrvits will share reflections and perspectives inspired by Vivian Maier’s work. What connects these two artists from different fields with Vivian Maier is their attentive observation and capturing of moments, in both photography and music. The dialogue that emerges in the exhibition hall, among Vivian Maier’s pictures, will unfold on site.

The discussions, exchanges of ideas and synergy that arise on Fotografiska’s special tours happen only once, on a single evening in the exhibition hall, and only those who are there can experience them.
