The Travelling Sauna Festival is coming to Lake Võrtsjärv for the fourth time, and this year we are turning up the heat! For two days, Ulge will once again become its own sauna world, bringing together more than 40 unique saunas, sauna traditions, fire, water, good company, rock’n’roll, folk-rock, traditional music, 90s hits and songs to sing and dance along to.

The weather cannot deter this festival—whether it rains or the sun shines, it is always good in the sauna! This is not merely a sauna festival or simply a concert. It is two days when drums and guitars echo through the forest, saunas glow, people dance, the lake cools you down, and the late-summer evening transforms the forest at Ulge into a world of its own, filled with lights, bonfires and music.

For us, tradition is neither dusty nor quiet. Tradition can rock. Tradition can make an entire forest full of people dance and enjoy life.

The theme of the 2027 festival, “Power Born from Fire”, speaks of the power that is born from fire, steam, water, music and people.

More than just a sauna festival

At the heart of the festival is a large sauna village, bringing together more than 40 saunas, each with its own character, story and temperature. Traditional sauna culture, distinctive mobile saunas, sauna masters, rituals and modern sauna experiences meet here.

But you do not have to be a sauna enthusiast to enjoy the Sauna Festival. When you have had enough of the steam, you can listen to concerts, dance, walk along forest paths lit by lights, sit by a bonfire, enjoy Lake Võrtsjärv, sing karaoke, take part in workshops or simply take time to be. During the day, the focus is on saunas, tradition and experiences. In the evening, we turn up the amplifiers.

🔥 Friday, 27 August

Friday is the day to settle in. Arrive, make yourself comfortable, take your first sauna, meet your friends, leave everyday worries behind and let the festival carry you away. Saunas, friends, good people and rock’n’roll on a late-summer evening.

🔥 Saturday, 28 August

On Saturday, the saunas will already be hot from midday. The day will be filled with sauna rituals, tradition, workshops, competitions and activities throughout the festival area. The lower the sun sinks, the more we turn up the amplifiers. In the evening, tradition meets rock’n’roll, dancing and familiar songs, drums, fire and a show. And when the ancient bonfires are lit on the shore of Lake Võrtsjärv, the most powerful part of the Sauna Festival begins.

Make it a mini-break

You do not have to come to the festival for just a few hours. Bring your friends, family or partner and turn the last weekend of August into a two-day mini-break on the shore of Lake Võrtsjärv. Steam and lake water during the day. Music, fire and dancing in the evening. And in between, simply time to be and enjoy good company.

Only 200 passes are available at this price. The pass is valid on both festival days: 27–28 August 2027.
