Feedback

"Feedback" My drama, if it were still taking place, would take place during an uprising. The uprising begins as a walk. Against traffic regulations, during working hours. The street belongs to pedestrians. Here and there, a car is turned over. My place, if my drama were still taking place, would be on both sides of the front, between the front lines, farther away from them. “I stand in the sweaty, stinking mass of people and throw stones at the police officers, soldiers, tanks, and bulletproof glass. I look through the machine-gun-proof glass double doors at the advancing crowd and feel the sweat of my fear. Suffocated by nausea, I shake my fist at myself. My roles are spitting and a spittoon, a knife and a wound, a tooth and a throat, a neck and a rope. I am a database. I am not Hamlet,” Heiner Müller, Hamletmachine “Feedback” speaks about the possibility and impossibility of protest in our minds and on our streets. The production continues Von Krahli trupi’s search for ways to create productions that connect the poetic and the political, the personal and the societal.
