“Home Players” is a story about a family, carried by airy lightness and painful humor, trying to find words, truth and one another. A son who has spent years away from his parents’ home returns to have the final conversations and hear all sides. Their conversations bring out stories left untold and distorted truths. How well do we actually know those closest to us? Through the father, son and mother, the production explores how the body, memory and unspoken feelings shape the closest relationships. What is real, and what is a distorted image? Nuutrum’s production moves on the boundary between intimate realism and the absurd, speaking about our perception of truth, responsibility, and what remains between family members when life takes a turn.

The performance is in one act and lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
