Children’s performance “Jäpe and Tibu’s Crystal Cup”

A town has received the coveted crystal cup—an award for impeccable order and the complete absence of crime. Peace reigns in the town, and the residents are convinced that they live in the safest place in the world. But one day, something unexpected happens: the crystal cup is stolen. Fear and suspicion creep into the town. Is a serial thief nevertheless operating beneath the peaceful façade? Is the town no longer what it was thought to be? Tibu—a visual artist, musician and self-appointed private detective—takes up the investigation. His student Jäpe, who comes from Missomassomaa, begins working alongside Tibu. Together, they set out to follow the clues, delving into the town’s hidden layers and the secrets of its residents. Will Tibu and Jäpe manage to catch the thief? Could the culprit really be one of their own? Through exciting twists and humorous moments, the performance takes the audience on a journey during which important questions arise: what is truly important in life? Is it money, friendship, family, respect or love? The answers become clear at the theatre.
