Wisdom Day for Parents. The World Is Changing – Let’s Learn Together!

The Education and Youth Board invites parents to the Wisdom Day “The World Is Changing – Let’s Learn Together!”, because being a parent means constantly learning. In a rapidly changing, digital and increasingly multicultural society, parents face new questions and choices: how to support a child’s sense of belonging, mental well-being and educational journey in a multicultural learning environment while preserving trust and the joy of learning? How can a parent maintain their own balance and energy reserves in the process? Throughout the day, recognised experts, parents and young people themselves will speak and share both knowledge and real-life experiences. The day will be hosted by beloved television journalist Anu Välba. Come to listen, reflect and gather inspiration – because a parent does not have to know everything alone. Let’s learn together! Parents whose child attends kindergarten or studies at a general education school are welcome. Participation is free of charge. The conference will take place in Estonian, with simultaneous interpretation into English and Russian. Registration is open until 3 March or until all available places have been filled. The Wisdom Day is organised by the Education and Youth Board (HARNO) and co-financed by the Swiss Confederation to reduce economic and social disparities within the European Union.
