Children’s performance “Jäpe and Tibu’s Crystal Cup”

A city has been awarded the coveted crystal cup—for impeccable order and a complete absence of crime. Peace reigns in the city, and its residents are convinced that they live in the safest place in the world. But one day, something unexpected happens: the crystal cup is stolen. Fear and suspicion creep into the city. Could a serial thief nevertheless be operating beneath the peaceful façade? Is the city no longer what it was thought to be?

The case is taken up by Tibu—an artist, musician, and self-proclaimed private detective. Tibu is joined by his student Jäpe, who comes from Missomassomaa. Together, they set out to follow the clues, delving into the city’s hidden layers and the secrets of its residents. Will Tibu and Jäpe manage to catch the thief? Could the culprit really be someone from among their own people?

Through exciting twists and humorous moments, the performance takes the audience on a journey during which important questions arise: what is truly important in life? Money, friendship, family, respect, or love? The answers will be revealed at the theatre.
