Formed in 2006 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Whitechapel has over the years become one of the leading names in deathcore. The band is known for its powerful riffs, dynamic compositions and Phil Bozeman’s exceptionally forceful vocals. During a career spanning almost two decades, Whitechapel has become highly respected in the world of metal and has one of contemporary metal’s most enviable discographies. Their earlier albums, including The Valley and Kin, brought new emotional and musical layers to their work, while their latest album, Hymns in Dissonance, marks a return to a darker and more aggressive sound. The album’s conceptual story follows a cultist who gathers followers to open portals; the songs function like evil hymns representing the seven deadly sins.

The evening will be opened by Tribal Gaze, a rising death metal force from Texas, known for its crushing blend of old-school death metal and modern groove. Next to take the stage will be Cleveland-based 200 Stab Wounds, bringing endless intensity and the fury of old-school death metal. Before Whitechapel’s performance, British modern metal force Sylosis will appear as the main support, known for its sharp riffs, melodic guitar passages and high-energy live performances. During a career spanning almost two decades, Sylosis has established itself as one of the strongest names in contemporary metal, raising the standards in modern heavy music.
