Coming Closer | Partner Breathing
Closer to yourself. Closer to another.
“Coming Closer” is a regular partner-breathing series that continues every other week until spring. Each meeting is a complete evening in itself, and participation does not require committing to the entire journey. You may come once or return to this space again and again — according to how it speaks to you.
During the meetings, the breathing practices and their focuses change, but the same movement always remains at the centre: closer to yourself, to another person, and to what is born between you.
This is an evening where you consciously give time to yourself, the person beside you, and what comes into being between you. Through conscious breathing, movement and somatic presence, we explore what it is like to be in contact with yourself and another person at the same time — to notice your body, feelings, boundaries, openness, and how we approach, withdraw, give and receive.
You may come with your life partner or with someone in whose presence you feel comfortable. You may also come alone. In that case, I can confirm your participation if there is a suitable solo partner of the opposite sex in the group.
You can read more about the content of the evening, partner practice, nudity, boundaries and contraindications for breathing on the “Coming Closer” page.
