Fundamentalist

“Fundamentalist” is a play about love. Its characters are the progressive pastor Markus, who has publicly admitted to being a tool of Satan, and his former good friend Heidi, who has drifted aimlessly through life like a lifeless log. On a fateful autumn night, Markus and Heidi meet again, and their spiritual war and search for truth begin. In the process, they must reassess what they believe and why. What is truth? Can several truths exist simultaneously? Is it possible to help another person selflessly? How far can one go in pursuing this wish? How far does one person’s responsibility toward another extend? What is fanaticism, and when does it become dangerous? You can meet Markus in the small hall of the Von Krahl Theatre and take part in the pastor’s personal confession.
