Niinagu

The camera eye moves through a dewy meadow toward evening. A scenic, fast-paced visual performance with few words, welcoming even the youngest theatre-goers (from the age of 3). The performance was inspired by the colourful work of Estonian artist Kristi Kangilaski and her painting “Tulipead”. The performance expresses pure emotion and uses intuition and the joy of creation—moving and creating exactly as one feels. Performed by two actors, a wild and playful world full of encounters comes to life on stage. It is a road theatre performance (road movie), in which more than 40 distinctive characters fly across the stage—from flaming tulip flowers to mischievous foreign chickens, senseless fish and mud-bath creatures.
