Niinagu

The camera’s eye moves through a dewy meadow toward evening. A picturesque and dynamic visual performance with few words, which the youngest theatre lovers are also welcome to watch (from the age of 3). The performance was inspired by the colourful work of Estonian artist Kristi Kangilaski and her painting “Tulipead”. The performance expresses pure emotion and uses intuition and the joy of creating—moving and creating exactly as one feels. Performed by two actors, a wild and playful world full of encounters comes to life on stage. This is a journey theatre piece (road movie), in which more than 40 distinctive characters fly across the stage—from flaming tulip blossoms to trick-playing foreign chickens, nonsensical fish and mud-bath creatures.
