Children’s Performance “Jäpe and Tibu’s Crystal Cup”

A city has been awarded the coveted crystal cup—the prize for impeccable order and the complete absence of crime. Peace reigns in the city, and its residents are convinced that they live in the safest place in the world. But one day, something unexpected happens: the crystal cup is stolen. Fear and suspicion creep into the city. Could a serial thief nevertheless be operating beneath the peaceful façade? Is the city no longer what it was thought to be? Tibu—a kunstnik, musician and self-proclaimed private detective—takes on the case. His student Jäpe, who comes from Missomassomaa, begins working alongside him. Together, they set out to follow the clues, delving into the city’s hidden layers and the secrets of its residents. Will Tibu and Jäpe manage to catch the thief? Could the culprit really be one of their own? Through exciting twists and humorous moments, the production takes the audience on a journey during which important questions arise: what is truly important in life? Money, friendship, family, respect or love? The answers will be revealed at the theatre.
