Niinagu

The camera eye moves through a dewy meadow toward evening. A picturesque and fast-paced visual performance with few words, also welcoming the youngest theatre lovers (from the age of 3). The performance was inspired by the colourful work of Estonian artist Kristi Kangilaski and her painting “Tulipead”. The performance expresses pure emotion and uses intuition and the joy of creation—moving and creating exactly as one feels. Performed by two actors, a wild and playful world full of encounters comes to life on stage. It is a road theatre (road movie), in which 40+ distinctive characters fly across the stage—from blazing tulip flowers to trick-performing foreign chickens, nonsensical fish and mud-bath creatures.
