Networking Evening in Tartu – TuluTIIVAD

TuluTIIVAD takes place in Tartu on the last Tuesday of every month and brings together local business people: entrepreneurs, executives and specialists. It’s an opportunity to talk about your work, share experiences, hear about other people’s business ventures, learn from their mistakes, find solutions to problems, make truly valuable contacts—and much more.

At every event, you can expect a genuinely useful information minute, a curated group of attendees, and a chance to try food and drinks from local producers. Local makers’ food and drinks will be available, and there may be treats too. :)

This time’s speaker is Reet Kaurit, co-founder of TalentHub.

Talk topic: “Office, home or somewhere in between—where does the best work happen?”

Is remote work a freedom or an obstacle? Does working in an office build a stronger team or limit opportunities? And is hybrid work really the golden mean? We’ll look at the advantages, opportunities and challenges of different ways of working from both the company’s and the employee’s perspectives. We’ll discuss how work arrangements affect company culture, performance, people’s motivation and talent acquisition. Which way of working suits whom, when and why? And is the most important thing really where we work, or rather how we work?

Entrepreneurship has been part of Reet’s life since she was young. In high school, she started berry-selling stalls; later, she brought branded clothes to Estonia from abroad and launched her own online jewellery shop. Today, she is best known as a co-founder of TalentHub. TalentHub helps ambitious companies in Estonia and elsewhere in Europe find people they can grow with. Reet has over 15 years of experience in recruitment and people-focused roles, including as one of Wise’s first recruiters. She is driven by entrepreneurship, new ideas and interesting people. She believes that great conversations can lead to the most exciting collaborations.

1. 🏠 Location: Studio MindZ, Lutsu 3, in the courtyard of Antoniuse Õu.
2. 🥿 In keeping with the homely atmosphere, we’ll be indoors without outdoor shoes! Slippers will be available, and the floor is warm.
3. 🚗 If possible, walk or follow the parking rules. This is in the Old Town area.
4. 🔵 When you reach the gate, follow the blue lights to find the right place. The room is on the second floor.
