2+2=22 / Zuga United Dancers’ production for families

I would like to make everything somehow obey me, but without stepping on anyone. I make my own rules. I can manage, I make myself strong, I climb and jump. I sit on two chairs, attend three schools, speak four languages. I raise my voice and put up a proper fight. I win, lose, learn, fall, stomp and doze. I want to remain friends. And become friends. I am interested in excitement, momentum and joy, silly laughter, a muddled head and a good joke and… I want to do the opposite, SOMETIMES, or simply do it at another time, ANOTHER TIME.

Zuga United Dancers’ new production “2 + 2 = 22” digs into the rules and regulations, visible and invisible agreements in our shared, dear life as children and parents, turns them upside down, sneaks around them and steps aside, does not offer a seat or invites someone to sit beside it, or sits on two chairs at once, while still searching together for its place. In this activity there is an attempt to arrive, even when accompanied by the cry “Adapt!”.
