Description: What would your perfect partner be like? Which qualities would you value most in them? And what would happen if such an ideal person suddenly appeared in your life? The hugely successful Canadian playwright Norm Foster places these simple yet timeless questions at the heart of a lively comedy. “Love Questionnaire” takes us into the world of two middle-aged friends, where an intellectual game about the important qualities of the perfect woman initially seems very amusing, until it becomes clear that fantasy and reality do not always fit together well.

Foster’s play is full of lively dialogue, witty situations and unexpected twists. It is a comedy in which the audience can laugh wholeheartedly, while also recognising its own longings and human weaknesses. “Love Questionnaire” asks us all: is perfection really what we need, or does happiness lie instead in imperfect, real life?
