Peaasi.ee/Kinoteater. Ordinary Estonian Men on Stage with the Stand-Up Show "We Don’t Talk About Mental Health"

Twelve perfectly ordinary Estonian men take the stage—men whom mental health does not personally affect. But they all know a guy who knows a guy who knows… In autumn 2025, Peaasi.ee and Kinoteater invited men to apply for a humor-writing course, and by the end of the year, twenty selected participants had successfully completed it. Twelve of them will appear before an audience for the first time to share stories, experiences, and incidents from their lives. Peaasi.ee and Kinoteater are interested in people’s well-being. This is their second collaboration based on stories. As part of Tartu 2024, the project "Mental Health Is Like a Carrot" gave Southern Estonian people—most of them women—the opportunity to speak; now the focus is on the permanent crisis group: men.
