🐺 Combat Ready Training Gathering 2026 awaits you! “Training Gathering 2026: Leadership Is a Skill” is a one-day practical leadership conference. The morning begins with short presentations, the middle of the day is spent in four workshops, and we finish with a panel and a summary. You will not simply sit and listen all day—you will actually practise and apply what you learn.

You can know a lot about leadership. It is more difficult to use that knowledge when pressure is rising, time is short, and the situation is not going according to plan. Leadership skills require practice. The Training Gathering is one day created specifically for that purpose.

During the day, we will work with leadership principles rooted in the experience of special operations units and adapted for use in organisations and teams.

What will you gain? From the conference, you will receive:
• a concrete framework for taking responsibility that you can put into practice in your team the very next morning;
• the ability to start a conversation you have been putting off;
• a method for reviewing work with your team so that mistakes are genuinely learned from;
• 4 battle rules that keep the team together even when the plan falls apart;
• four workshops where you will learn the “Extreme Ownership” leadership system;
• real conversations with other leaders facing exactly the same challenges as you.

Leadership-principles workshops:

Taking responsibility. How to take and assign responsibility so that the work actually gets done and the burden does not remain solely on the leader. Led by Daniel Nüüd and Heleri Nõlvak.

Debrief. A method originating in the military that helps teams review their work so that everyone can see their own shortcomings and focus on solutions. Led by Jaak Kuld and Aet Tammis.

Difficult conversations. How to have conversations you usually avoid, so that they do not damage the relationship but strengthen it, and the problems are genuinely resolved. Led by Karin Pohla and Teet Uusküla.

Leadership in practice. See how other leaders have used these principles in real situations and what benefits they have brought to teams. Led by Age Leedo.

Who will be on stage and in the workshops?
At the Training Gathering, Combat Ready instructors and practitioners from various fields will share their experiences and put the principles into practice. The day will be opened by Priit Lilleväli. Daniel Nüüd and Age Leedo will explain Combat Ready’s leadership principles on stage. The workshops will be led by Daniel Nüüd, Heleri Nõlvak, Jaak Kuld, Aet Tammis, Karin Pohla, Teet Uusküla and Age Leedo.

The four workshops focus on taking responsibility, debriefing, difficult conversations and leadership in practice.

In the second half of the day, Remo Ojaste and Rait Ratasepp will meet for a conversation. Two different experiences and worlds, where readiness, decisions and responsibility are put to the test in difficult situations. What helps you continue when the plan no longer works? How do you make decisions under pressure and fatigue? And what can you take from these experiences into your everyday work?

The day will be summarised by Combat Ready co-founder, CEO and instructor Remo Ojaste. The Training Gathering will be moderated by Katrin Kiviselg.

Who is the Training Gathering for?
For you, who know that everything starts with yourself. You do not have to be a leader by job title. If your work involves responsibility, decisions, cooperation and the need to act in difficult situations, this day is for you.

It does not matter whether Combat Ready’s principles are already familiar to you or whether you are encountering them for the first time. The central question of the day is: how do you lead yourself, take responsibility and cooperate even when the situation becomes difficult?

If you have attended a Combat Ready training before, this day is an opportunity to refresh the “Extreme Ownership” principles and practise them in real situations. If you are encountering Combat Ready’s principles for the first time, you will gain a comprehensive overview of them during the day and have the opportunity to try them out in practice immediately.
