Author and director: Marek Ranne. Dramaturg and mentor: Ingrid Ulst. On stage: Marek Ranne. Margus is an ordinary middle-class man whose life is turned upside down when a new employee arrives in his workplace kitchen—a robot chef based on artificial intelligence. This is a story about losing one’s job, searching for dignity and remaining human in an era when machines not only do the work but also take up space in our souls. On stage, Margus’s monologue moves through humorous and painful moments—from everyday situations to a deep existential crisis. He talks to the HR manager, argues with the manager, recalls his employment record book and tries to understand when a person became a cost. The story is witty, emotional and sharply topical—a reflection of a society where technological advances are no longer science fiction but everyday reality. And at the centre of it all stands Margus—a man who had his job taken away, but not his voice. The performance is in two acts. Advance tickets: regular ticket 12 EUR, discounted ticket 10 EUR (pensioners, veterans and students). Tickets at the venue: regular ticket 15 EUR, discounted ticket 12 EUR.
