The effects of the operation emerge gradually, and Jenny’s intelligence continues to grow until it surpasses that of the doctors who experimented on her. It seems that a discovery of worldwide significance has been made, until Algernon’s condition begins to deteriorate. Will the same happen to Jenny?

Play: D. Keyes’ science-fiction classic short story “Flowers for Algernon” (1959). The book won the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award. The Oscar-winning film “Charly” was made based on it.
