Hiking Trip in Sinimäed

Sinimäed holds a special place in Estonian history. This hike combines movement, landscape views and military history into one experience. The three hills of Sinimäed offer an engaging route through varied terrain, where numerous traces of military activity have been preserved. Brisk movement is interspersed with short breaks and the hiking guide’s stories about the defensive structures from the three most recent wars. Difficulty level: athletic. The pace is brisk, with short breaks at points of interest. To get proper hiking training, equip yourself with a backpack weighing 5–10 kg (you can choose what load you want to carry). Wear sportswear. Bring drinking water and a headlamp (it is also possible to get a headlamp from the hiking club).
