COCO ART CLUB & RESTORAN — this is not simply an art space. It is an ecosystem and a lifestyle, an emotional and cultural microcosm in the heart of Tallinn. A unique club, museum, restaurant and garden where art, gastronomy, energy and living people meet. It is a place where you can be yourself — without censorship, social masks or falseness. We are not chosen because of trends (we are the trend ourselves), but because of authenticity. For the courage to be sincere. For the air in which poems can be heard; for desserts with peppermint and wild-orange essential oil, decorated with gold; for the opportunity to play an out-of-tune piano while colorful dumplings are prepared in the kitchen; for the phrase “you are important,” said not because of service or a tip, but because of the person who has come to visit us with a kind heart.

The unique community doll exhibition “THE WORLD OF DOLLS OR TOYS FOR ADULTS” was so well liked at COCO ART CLUB & RESTORAN that, at the request of club members, the collection remained on the premises and over time became the most extraordinary and unique private museum, where not only dolls live, but also rare national costumes and headwear from different countries of the world, rare tableware and everyday objects, each with its own unique story.

NEW EXHIBITS AND THEIR STORIES EVERY DAY from the collector in a unique museum and at the exhibition of rare collectible dolls “THE WORLD OF DOLLS OR TOYS FOR ADULTS,” in the incredibly atmospheric art club and restaurant with an author’s kitchen, COCO ART CLUB & RESTORAN.

This is not simply a museum and exhibition, but an opportunity for adults to immerse themselves in childhood and for children to learn about the history and evolution of dolls, from antique dolls (more than 114 years old) to contemporary dolls and the most modern ones on today’s market: ethnic and Asian dolls; Estonian SALVO dolls; dolls from the American SCHOENHUT factories, patented on 17 June 1911; MATTEL BARBIE from 1966 and her analogues from different countries; NANANA, LOL, handmade porcelain and ceramic dolls, Paula Reina, RAINBOW, Sindy, Simba, Petra, Finnish MARTTA, Soviet 8 March factories, dolls from the former GDR, SCHILKRÖT, ARTEL LEMBITU, FURGA, SONNI and many other vintage dolls.

Several generations, from great-grandmothers and grandmothers to today’s teenagers and children, can recognize themselves here, remember their toys and briefly feel that their dream of visiting the world of dolls and the most fairy-tale-like children’s room can come true.

This is not a classical museum where you walk around alone and read names beneath display cases, but an exhibition where the collector and hostess personally conduct a tour and tell you the incredible stories of her collectible dolls. The exhibition was also created for collectors, especially planonologists interested in dolls and collecting them. It is also intended to allow adults and children to share interests while spending free time together.

The exhibition shows that not all dolls and toys were created for children and play — most are exclusive, rare dolls, fragile and very valuable in every sense, which only adults and experienced collectors can appreciate. Some dolls even have a special security code and a vanilla scent.

For the first time in its nearly seven-year history, children may also enter the closed VIP art space and adults’ interest club COCO ART CLUB & RESTORAN (but not children under 7, and only together with and under the supervision of adults), as well as young people up to 25+ and adults, without mandatory paid registration.

The exhibition includes more than 1,000 exhibits and dolls, from antique to contemporary, including more than 300 original BARBIE dolls and hundreds of her analogues from the 1960s through 2024. Each has its own unique history of origin and collecting. NEW dolls are added EVERY DAY and the atmosphere changes, so visitors who have already been here will once again have something to be surprised by.

Considering COCO ART CLUB & RESTORAN’s non-standard approach and concept, as well as its internal rules, visiting hours and the number of people are limited. WHEN PURCHASING A TICKET, IT IS NECESSARY TO RESERVE A VISIT TIME (by SMS at +372 56227208).

After the tour, visitors may enjoy hot and cold author’s drinks and snacks, desserts with essential oils from the COCO restaurant menu for an additional charge, as well as purchase edible souvenirs, various jams and syrups, taste homemade plum or peony tinctures, and buy gifts for themselves and friends from the local GOURMET MARKET & FASHION BOUTIQUE.

A simultaneous visit is possible for 2–5 people, so the ticket and visiting time must be booked in advance. EXCEPTIONALLY, up to 10 people may attend when booking an event with a tour or a lecture by the collector.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR VISITORS

OPENING HOURS: Thursday–Sunday, 16:00–23:00. Visits on other days are also possible, but only by prior arrangement, and the ticket price increases by 30%.

WHO MAY ENTER COCO AND THE MUSEUM:
• Club members
• Visitors who have purchased a museum ticket (optionally staying with a bar deposit) or a ticket/invitation to special events

VISITOR STATUS:
Dear guests, this is a private closed club and museum, not a place to “just sit” or “just look.” Everything you see here is the result of the hostess’s many years of work and personal investments, without any sponsorship support. Therefore, a deposit system applies to all visitors who wish to spend time with us. Please treat this with understanding and respect.

• Client — a registered person who has been granted access to the premises.
• Club Member — a status granted after five visits and payment of the membership fee.
• Club Member GOLD / DIAMOND — granted by invitation or for active participation, loyalty and payment of the membership fee.

Membership fees from 01.01.2025:
• CLUB MEMBER — €65 / year + 24% VAT
• CLUB MEMBER GOLD — €750 / year + 24% VAT
• CLUB MEMBER DIAMOND — €2,650 / year + 24% VAT

Specific information about privileges is provided when applying to become a club member (25+, exceptionally 21+ on recommendation).

ONE-TIME VISIT:
Option 1 — Museum visit for up to 30 minutes:
• Up to 10 minutes — cloakroom and completion of the form
• Up to 20 minutes — self-guided visit (touching and photography prohibited)
• Ticket: adult — €15, child — €7 + 24% VAT
• Presentation of an identity document and completion of the form are mandatory
• Time is strictly limited; the visit takes place under staff supervision

Option 2 — Visit with access to the bar or terrace:
• Ticket + deposit from €35 / person
• The deposit may be used at the bar or according to the menu (while the kitchen is operating)
• Entry only subject to availability
• Presentation of an identity document upon entry is mandatory

An author’s tour of the premises and exhibition, including the collector’s narration, may be ordered — €75 / hour + 24% VAT.

CHILDREN:
Children from approximately 6–7 years old are permitted only when accompanied by an adult and by prior arrangement. Parents are fully responsible for the child’s behavior. Familiarization with the rules in advance is mandatory.

TIPS:
Your tips go entirely toward a children’s cultural charity project and feeding the wild animals living in our garden (squirrels, hedgehogs and birds).
