TOUR OF THE MANOR HOUSE WITH A GUIDE, FROM CELLAR TO ROOF

Arrive a little earlier and discover the manor’s stories before the curtain rises. The guided tour takes visitors on a journey through the manor’s history, architecture and stories that have shaped life at the manor over the centuries. We move through historic rooms and periods when the building served a very different purpose than it does today. We introduce the manor’s development, the manor lords who lived here and the various periods in the manor’s history.

During approximately one hour, rooms steeped in centuries of history will open up to visitors—people have lived, studied, dreamed and held celebrations here. The guide will talk about the manor’s development, the fate of its owners and fascinating details that everyday visitors might not notice on their own. The tour is not merely a list of facts, but a story that helps explain how the historic building has changed over time and what role it plays in the community today.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the formal rooms, hear lesser-known stories and ask questions. The tour lasts approximately one hour. This leaves time before the performance to visit the café and enjoy the manor’s atmosphere.
