Side by Side. Havryil Sydoryk – Rein Rannap
Original works, arrangements / solo, duo

The concert programme brings before the audience two pianists – Havryil Sydoryk, who is embarking on his musical journey, and Rein Rannap, who has had a distinguished stage career. This is not an ordinary piano concert, but a unique meeting between two creators at different stages of life. Rannap and Sydoryk will perform for each other and the audience works that have touched them over the years. They will play alternately and together, on both one and two pianos. The programme includes original compositions and arrangements ranging from classical piano music to pop songs.

“Havryil is very similar to me, and this is where the idea for performing together originated. I am thinking above all of the time when I was his age. Our musical interests and versatility are similar – this is by no means common nowadays!”
– Rein Rannap

The concert has no interval and lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
