In the Web of Lies, or In Vino Veritas
Four friends decide to tell each other nothing but the truth one Halloween evening. How hard can that be? Or can it? In any case, they enlist the help of an ancient drink to make it happen. The hostess has brought back from a trip to Peru a bluish-colored wine that indigenous people drink before getting married. After drinking it, they can speak only the truth, and anyone who can endure it is paired off. No wonder the Incas died out!
Usually, relationship comedies are full of small and big lies, but here everyone tells only the truth. At once both terrifying and funny!
The comedy by American author David MacGregor was translated by Heiti Pakk and directed by Heiti and Rein Pakk. The cast features Ott Sepp, Kaia Skoblov, Indrek Taalmaa and Marika Barabanštšikova.
