The relationship comedy “Long Weekend” tells the story of four friends—two couples—who have decided to spend a weekend together. They meet at one couple’s country house. Although they have been friends for many years, several secrets from the past come to light in a short time. As the conversations progress, we hear what has been kept unspoken over the years. It turns out that each character has an unfulfilled dream. Over the course of the events, the group realises that nothing has yet been lost, that the time is right to be brave and begin pursuing their dreams. Comical misunderstandings alternate with tense situations, during which the author shows with wit how similar we are. We are all allowed to dream and hope for a better life.
