Sander Õigus: Twelve Months

“I’m not the same person today that I was yesterday. And tomorrow, you won’t be the same person you are today.” Twelve months is a long time, and three hundred new versions of me—it’s amazing how much can change in a year. It’s our job to do our best to ensure that this change is heading in the right direction! When was the last time you actually looked at yourself from the outside, and did the sight make you squeeze your eyes shut in shock? Sander Õigus’s twelfth solo hour is ready and will finally reach stages all over the Republic! Let’s meet up once again to laugh a little at ourselves! Sander says: “In recent years, I’ve spent most of my time away from Estonia, touring comedy festivals all over the world. When you travel around alone, situations inevitably arise where you’re forced to truly face yourself. Another evening, staring at a hotel ceiling in an unfamiliar city. In addition, I’ve spent many evenings in different comedy clubs, trying to shape humour out of this fear. I’d like to show you, too, what I came up with. See you somewhere at a cultural venue near your home! ‘Twelve Months’ is probably the craziest hour I’ve written so far, so it’s sure to be exciting.”
