Crime Comedy “Stockmann Yard – Department Store Villains” / Vana Baskini Teater

Crime comedy “Stockmann Yard” – Department Store Villains. Wealthy customers, picture-perfect salespeople and audacious thieves—welcome behind the scenes at Stockmann! Life in the legendary department store grows crazier by the day. Merchandise mysteriously disappears, and a gang of crooks feels at home among the shelves. The department store’s security department, Stockmann Yard, is powerless, because the threads lead somewhere no one dares to look. Surely none of the employees is in league with the crooks? Adding fuel to the chaos is an angry inspector arriving from Finland, determined to restore order. A game of cat and mouse begins, in which love and greed, naivety and cunning collide. Who will be caught? Who loves whom? And who will leave the department store in handcuffs? Based on a Finnish bestseller, this production is both criminal and hilarious. It is a comedy that mocks human weaknesses while also offering a crash course in the behind-the-scenes world of shoplifting, making you look around a department store with completely new eyes next time.
