Sander Õigus: Twelve Months

“I am not the same person today as I was yesterday. And tomorrow, you will no longer be the same person you are today.” Twelve months is a long time, and three hundred new versions of me—quite a lot can change in a year. It is up to us to do our best to ensure that this change is headed in the right direction! When was the last time you really looked at yourself from the outside, and did the sight make you squeeze your eyes shut in shock? Sander Õigus’s twelfth solo show is ready and will finally take to stages across the whole of Estonia! Let’s get together once again to laugh a little at ourselves! Sander says: “In recent years, I have spent most of my time away from Estonia, touring comedy festivals all over the world. Travelling around alone inevitably creates situations where you are forced to truly face yourself. Another evening, staring at the ceiling of a hotel in an unfamiliar city. In addition, I have spent many evenings in various comedy clubs, trying to shape humour out of this fear. I would like to show you what I came up with. See you somewhere at a cultural institution near your home! ‘Twelve Months’ is probably the craziest hour I have written so far; it will certainly be exciting.”
