Christmas Social Gathering

Welcome to a Christmas social gathering for seniors aged 65 and over. The Prevention Unit of Alingsås Municipality, in collaboration with Grand Hotel, invites seniors aged 65 and over to a Christmas social gathering at Grand Hotel. Welcome on Tuesday, 8 December 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00.

Would you like to expand your social network, talk with other friendly seniors, and enjoy the lovely surroundings of Grand Hotel at the same time? Then this is the perfect opportunity to come along! Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have attended before and enjoyed it, you are welcome to register again. Everyone is welcome.

We will have a Christmas-inspired sandwich, served with still water. Other drinks are available at an additional cost. Christmas music will play as we mingle, chat and enjoy ourselves. There will also be a Christmas quiz. Conversation cards and riddles will be available to help get conversations going.

For the Christmas gathering, please buy a Christmas gift worth SEK 75, wrap it and bring it with you. You will receive a gift to take home with you. Please choose something you would like to receive yourself. The gift should be worth SEK 75. You may buy several items to reach that value; simply wrap them together in one package.

The total cost is SEK 300: SEK 75 for the gift you buy and bring, and SEK 225 for the Christmas sandwich. Registration is binding, and we ask you to pay the fee directly after registering. Pay the activity educator at your meeting place, or Swish Rosa Olsson at 073 953 82 11. If paying by Swish, include your full name and “Julfest” in the message.

The maximum number of seniors for this event is 30. If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible on 0322-617070. If you have any questions, call us on 0322-617070.

P.S. You are welcome to stay at the hotel after 18:00. Grand Hotel is open all evening. D.S. Welcome!
