LAUKU MUZIKANTI: “What Is This Story About?” Concert Programme

Following the strong audience response, the band “Lauku Muzikanti” is continuing its tour across Latvia, “What Is This Story About?” A special programme has been prepared exclusively for this tour, featuring songs that listeners will not hear at the band’s other concerts. Each concert will be a celebration and a one-of-a-kind experience.

The programme will include new songs, including the brand-new “Par ko šis stāsts” (“What Is This Story About?”), as well as “Dzīvīte vējainā,” written by Normunds a year ago, which has received a strong response from listeners and high praise. Of course, the concert will also feature the band’s greatest hits, such as “Es Tevi atradu sniegā,” “Dzirkstošais vīns,” “Tūkstots (1000),” “Meitene no Rīgas,” “Vēl viens dolārs,” “Nemodini mani,” and “Klusums,” as well as “Pāri okeānam,” “Pirmoreiz,” “Mana dzīve,” “Meitene burvīgā,” “Laimes meklētāji,” “Viens pats mājās,” and “Jau kuro reizi.”

After the concert, listeners will be able to buy the band’s new album, meet the musicians in person, take a photo together, and receive a special keepsake: an album signed by “Lauku Muzikanti.”

The band’s lead singer and frontman, Normunds Ķietis, says: “On this tour, we’ll meet heart to heart. Each concert will be a celebration you simply must be part of—a chance to experience it together! I believe this will be an event you’ll remember for a long time.”

Joining Normunds Ķietis (vocals, acoustic guitar) on stage will be Artis Dauksts (bass guitar), Valters Līcis (drums), Gints Hartmanis (keyboards), and Andris Barons (electric guitar). Together, they create the sound that has delighted listeners throughout Latvia for years.
