A Playful Show for Children: The Adventures of the Capricious Fir Tree

As Christmas approaches, Jūrmalas teātris will bring a story to its youngest audience members and their parents about the adventures of the Capricious Fir Tree. In this seriously unserious play, the Fir Tree will try to teach the Wolf, the Hare and an old man the song “Once Upon a Time a Fir Tree Was Born in the Forest.” You will find out whether the lesson succeeds and how easy or difficult it is, and whether everyone really has to sing just one song or each can have their own, at Jūrmalas teātris’s production “The Adventures of the Capricious Fir Tree.” Believe it or not, Santa Claus will also be there to greet everyone with games and songs during the Christmas season!

Ticket price: €8; €5 with a Jūrmala resident card, or for pensioners, large families, people with disabilities and low-income residents.
